Monsoon Productions, founded in 2002, is all about providing support, strategic planning, local and international opportunities for artists who are not only talented and passionate but called and committed. The artist who can perform before, and innately connect with audiences across cultural and geographical boundaries has a rare and unique gift. The music industry is interesting and complex, especially in the current global climate, however opportunities will always exist when there is authentic and original talent mixed with smart and strategic management. Australia is in a unique relationship with Asia through our histories and proximity, and we see increasing potential for interaction in the years to come in light of the music and entertainment industries.  

 

Founding Director Deb Fung brings to Monsoon seven years of direct industry experience and relationships as a live and recording artist spanning three albums across Australia, USA, Singapore, Malaysia, China and New Zealand. Coupled with a Commerce Law degree, General Management commercial experience and the tools from a Masters in Arts Management with the Australian Institute of Music, Monsoon Productions offers a rich insight and management palette for the artist in its wing.

Business Partner Roberta Law brings to Monsoon over ten years of experience as a performing musician, music teacher, and creative arts / music director for various events and organisations. Together with four years of experience in event management and a continually growing list of successful full-capacity events, Roberta brings innovation, quality and professionalism in the management of Monsoon's event and tour projects.
