1. ABOUT SHINE

Yes, you’ve heard correctly – SHINE is BACK again this year as another exciting opportunity for you to step out and unleash the dream! For the first time, SHINE will be awarding category finalist winners with exciting prizes proudly supported by Turramurra Music and The Storehouse to further encourage performers in the exploration and pursuit of their talent!

With SHINE’S first ever event last October also at the Wesley Theatre, SHINE was birthed with the aim to give musically gifted and creative high school students a positive, exciting and encouraging platform to explore, hone and pursue their musical talent. As an international artist, event and tour management company, Monsoon Productions is proud to present this event alongside its industry partners, to support and share in this small and practical way in a young person’s growing aspirations. In fact, Monsoon Productions’ director, Deb Fung began her musical journey in just the same way… her path to being a recording and performing artist throughout Australia and Asia all began with a friendly high school music competition event!

So if you are in high school, love to play an instrument or sing, have written your own songs, are willing to take a step out and hazard the opportunity to perform before an eager and friendly audience on the 17th… SHINE is here for you to unleash the dream!
